The vanilla bean is native to Mexico; however the vanilla beans we use for our candles comes from Madagascar. The vanilla bean has many uses for baking in this case I prefer the beans from Mexico. We all know what great ice cream it makes and it always adds a certain je ne sais quoi to whatever baked goods you can conger up.  For aromatherapy purposes we think the Madagascan bean is best. This candle provides great soothing, calming and fever reducing properties.
